In the Summer of 2005 she completed her City & Guilds Level 3 Machine Embroidery Course which helped her to take her playing and experimenting to a higher level. Shortly after completing her City and Guilds she moved from the UK to Vancouver and now to the Sunshine Coast where she continues to develop her design work and creativity, while finding new and abundant sources of inspiration. As a member of the Vancouver Guild of Fibre Arts and North Shore Needle Arts guild (President from 2008-2010), she has kept in touch with current products, artists and issues in the fibre world.
